What the college says
If you want to work on HGVs and large vehicles this course gives you a practical workshop-first route into the sector. You will learn how major systems work and build skills removing and refitting components to specification with guidance from experienced mechanics. It is a strong foundation for Level 3 study or apprenticeship progression.
What you need to get on
Entry requirements for external applicants and school leavers • Two or more GCSEs at grade 4 or above including maths and English, or successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification and maths and English grade 4. Entry requirements for existing learners with the Cornwall College Group • Successful completion of previous course and, where relevant, meet the English and/or maths requirements of the Level 2 course. Please note: Some of our courses may have extra entry requirements
