What you need to get on
All candidates must be committed to working in the Health and Social Care Sector, be caring, creative and energetic. Applicants will need 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above including English, Maths and Science, or a Higher Diploma (which is equivalent to 7 GCSE’s A*-C), or NVQ 2 or Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care to Merit grade with ideally English and/or Maths at minimum grade or equivalent (such as Level 2 Functional Skills).
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
