This is an introductory course designed for young people interested in a career in the caring sectors. This course is designed to provide you with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the care industries. The course requires you to study a range of career options in health and social care and early years environments and helps you choose which pathway to specialise in at Level 2. All units will be individually internally assessed using a range of methods, which could include written assignments or tasks. As part of the course you will be required to undertake a work experience placement and study English and maths, at functional skills or GCSE level.
