BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care covers areas which are essential to Health and Social Care such as: rights and responsibilities, service provision, and understanding human behaviour. Students will complete mandatory units and will also have the option to choose specialist units they are interested in. This qualification can provide career opportunities in all areas of the Health and Social Care sector for example: medicine, pharmacy, nursing, paramedic science, pediatrics, dentistry, counselling, midwifery, teaching, police service, social work, nursery nursing and many more.
What you need to get on
At least 5 4-9 GCSE grades (or A*-C legacy GCSE grades) with a minimum of 4 or above in GCSE English, and 4 or above in GCSE Mathematics. It is prefered that you have studied this subject at GCSE but this is not compulsory.
