This course will give you the knowledge, practical skills and real-world experience needed to begin a career in health and social care. You’ll develop an understanding of professional practice, communication and person-centred care while building the confidence to support individuals in a range of care settings.

4 x GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including Maths and English
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
