The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care is an applied general qualification equivalent to one A Level. Learners taking this qualification will study three mandatory units: • Human Lifespan Development • Working in Health and Social Care • Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs. In addition, students will study the following unit: • Physiological Disorders and their Care

What you need to get on

A minimum of 6 GCSEs (or equivalent) to start on 4 A/S Levels. These must be from at least 4 separate courses, with 4 GCSEs at A*-C and English & maths at grade 4 or better.
