The course is designed to give students the opportunity to understand the built environment in which they live while gaining the fundamental knowledge and technical skills required in today's construction industry. Upon completing the course, you will have the necessary Health & Safety skills to work on a building site as an operative. The course covers a selection of topics such as Unit 1:-Legal and management Unit 2:-Health and welfare Unit 3:-General safety Unit 4:-High risk activities Unit 5:--Environment

What you need to get on

Being able to read and write in English is essential, but no formal qualifications are required.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
