What the college says
The course builds on the skills gained at Level 2 and further develops your creative abilities. You will learn about advanced techniques in cutting, colouring, creative styling and dressing hair. As part of the course, you will work in the Innovations commercial salon as a stylist and produce an avant-garde look for a photo shoot. You will also be given the opportunity to obtain relevant work experience in a realistic working environment.
What you need to get on
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (if this does not include English and maths these MUST be studied as part of the Level 3 programme) or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent in English and maths; successful interview and initial assessment; successful completion of Level 2 programme in (progressing learners).
