Are you aged 16-19 or a school leaver? This qualification has been specifically designed to develop your knowledge and practical skills through a variety of units: introducing you to the hair and beauty industries, how to present a professional image and work with others in the salon. You will be able to; work on our salon reception, develop your creative skills in the create an image unit, style women and men�s hair and apply temporary colour, provide effective shampooing and conditioning hair services, and much more! Uniform and kit are a compulsory requirement of the course. Uniform Black trousers (no leggings), black flat shoes and a black tunic. Kit Training heads, scissors, combs, clips and brushes Prices to be confirmed (approx. �200) Uniform and kit packages will be discussed further at interview and order forms will be made available at�enrolment.� All kit and uniform will need to be purchased through the college�supplies�and not�independently.

What you need to get on

Our level 1 course requires 2 x GSCE's at grade 2-3, preferably in maths and English, or completion of a Routes to Vocational Studies/Gateway programme.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
