This is the first of two years training to be a fully qualified hairdresser.This course covers all the skills learners require to become a professional Stylist in the hairdressing industry.There are both theory and practical elements studied in real working environment salon, allowing you to gain experience and knowledge to begin a career in this industry.You will get the opportunity to take part in local and national competitions, to visit trade shows, and experience training from industry leaders. What you need to get on

Entry is by interview. The course requires learners aged 16-18 years to hold the Level 1 Hairdressing Certificate or equivalent qualification. We will alsoconsider students, without prior hairdressing experience or qualifications, who have achieved A*-C (4) GCSEs in English, Mathematics and one other subject, and there is a strong emphasis on the personal qualities required to work in a service industry.
