The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level or where more specific knowledge, skills and understanding is required. This is a knowledge only qualification which can be used to prepare learners to enter employment within a warehousing and storage environment. This qualification is aimed at individuals who are interested in working within the logistics sectors, in particular a warehousing and storage environment. It includes the following knowledge-based learning outcomes: 1. Understand how to receive and store goods and materials 2. Understand how to process orders and dispatch goods 3. Understand how to deliver effective customer service 4. Understand health, safety, security and legislation 5. Understand how to be an effective team worker. This qualification is assessed by portfolio of evidence. Our employability offer was designed and is continually modified in consultation with the DWP and indeed their customers. These qualifications are also tailored to bespoke cohorts which include; Lone Parent, 50+, male/female only and disability provision. This allows for individualised delivery specifically suited to these cohorts. We believe this sets Deere aside from mainstream provision of this nature.
