The new Graphic Media Design course is designed to equip you with essential creative, design and technical skills in both traditional and new media design necessary for a successful future within a large number of creative industries. The course is structured around professional, work based units together with work experience and industry set briefs however always with a focus on the individual learners ambitions and future aims and in the development of your own personal portfolio of work. The Graphic Media Design Course covers a wealth of topics to submerge yourself into including animation, advertising, video and sound design, web design, print based media, interactive media, illustration and character as well as logo design, packaging and product design. All our design studios are equipped to reflect industry standards with all our students having access to Apple Mac computers, Adobe Creative software and professional lens based media equipment. We have a film and green screen studio with video and sound editing software, digital drawing and image making tools, in fact everything youll need to experience and learn if you wish to progress onto university or other higher education or to break out into a career within creative design and production.

What you need to get on

4 x GCSEs at grade 4(C) or above, including at least 3(D) in English In addition: Portfolio of creative or art and design work showing an aptitude and interest in creative arts or production

How you are assessed

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
