What you need to get on

At least GCSE grade 5 in English and a 6 in a humanity e.g. Geography or History is required. A genuine committed interest is the main requirement needed from students who take this course. A student who studies Government and Politics as an A Level subject will be one who wants to understand current affairs in depth. For continuation to Year 13 grades in Year 12 Government and Politics need to demonstrate potential for A Level success.
