United Learning offer 'Get Started' with Functional Skills English from Entry Level 2 to Level 2. These short 11-hour courses are for adults who need to begin to learn English again. The learner will study a range of English skills – reading, writing, speaking and listening – based upon real-life settings. These courses have different aims to learning English as a foreign language. The courses will help the learner to adjust and prepare for the full year course.
What you need to get on
No previous experience required. Please email the office if you have qualifications from outside the UK to check equivalency.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
