What the college says

We are the only college locally to offer A level Geology. This unique course is the study of Earth, its structures, evolution and dynamics. If you’ve ever wondered how Earth was formed, why dinosaurs didn’t survive, if a supervolcano could erupt or whether fracking should be allowed then A Level Geology is for you.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above. A minimum grade 5 in Mathematics, English Language and a Science is also required.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.

Is it open to 16 to 18 year olds?
