Geology is an interesting subject that is taught through theory, practical work and field trips. Geologists are amongst the most employable in these times of economic change as a result of the need for resources in areas such as energy, waste and water management.
What you need to get on
At least 5 GCSEs graded 9-5 including English and Maths at a grade 4. A 4 or above in Sciences in preferred.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
