Do you want to study a subject that encompasses many of the Earth’s most pressing issues? Do you enjoy problem solving and practical science? If so, study Geology! Geology is an interesting subject that is taught through theory, practical work and field trips. Geologists are amongst the most employable in these times of economic change as a result of the need for resources in areas such as energy, waste and water management.

What you need to get on

At least 5 GCSEs graded 9-5 including English and Maths at a grade 4. A 4 or above in Sciences in preferred.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
