Geography is inherently multidisciplinary in a world that increasingly values people who have the skills needed to work across the physical and social sciences. Geography is an excellent subject for acquiring a variety of skills including research, problem-solving, critical thinking, statistical analysis, ICT skills, decision-making, group and individual presentation skills, teamwork, data collection and presentation. According to the Royal Geographical Society, 13% more students took the subject at A Level this year than last, up to 37,100 - the biggest jump of any of the major subjects.
