What the college says

This course is perfect if you're aged 16-18 and want to improve your GCSE results in order to progress onto A Levels or another Level 3 course. We also welcome applications from International and homed educated students (16-18), who may not hold current GCSE qualifications.

What you need to get on

You'll need 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) including English Language and Maths - one of either English Language or Maths needs to be grade 9-4 (A*-C). It is beneficial if you have experience of the subjects you have chosen, but this is not essential. A member of staff will discuss your subject choices with you at enrolment and ensure that you have made an informed decision.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
