This is a one year highly intensive course and is free to those who have not previously achieved a 9-4 (old A*- C) grade in GCSE maths. It would be ideal if you are seeking employment or career advancement, or wish to access higher education.

What you need to get on

A previous achievement of grade 3 (old D) and/or completion of initial Graded Assessment. You need a good level of English skills so you can follow spoken and written instructions and read handouts and text books.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
