The aim of the course is to prepare you for the Edexcel GCSE Foundation tier examinations in Mathematics, although it may be possible to study and take examinations at the Higher tier. Probability and statistics Finding averages, representing data in diagrams, calculating probabilities, Number Using decimals, fractions, percentages and ratios. Algebra Manipulating algebraic expressions, using formulae, solving equations, drawing graphs. Geometry and measures Using angles, working with named shapes, finding areas and volumes, doing transformations, using Pythagoras theorem.
