What the college says
GCSE English gives you the opportunity to investigate and analyse the language and structure of texts in context, and it gives you the opportunity to experiment using language creatively. You will give opinions and pass judgement on current events, recent texts and then apply these skills to exam questions. The course also improves your employability as it promotes the expression of thoughts and ideas on a variety of topics.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course but you will be required to attend an informal assessment to ensure that this level of study is appropriate. This programme is fully funded subject to candidates meeting the eligibility criteria.
