This GCSE course is a revision year, designed to support the development of skills and knowledge and prepare for the final assessment. Following on from your offer of a place on the adult GCSE English Language course, you will undertake an assessment in the first two weeks to ensure we can find the right course for you.

What you need to get on

There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course, however it would be beneficial if you held a grade 3/D in English Language or a Level 2 Literacy/Functional Skills qualification.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
