You will also study the contexts of your chosen films and what was happening when the film was made. What can the film tell us about history and society at that time?

What you need to get on

General Entry Criteria Students wishing to follow the Level 2 Transition Year have to achieve: • 5 GCSEs at grade 3 or higher • Grade 4 or higher in either English or Mathematics.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
