This course has a modern focus concentrating on Europe in the 20th Century. In Year 12, you will explore the rise and fall of Communist states in Europe in the 20th century. This will allow you to develop your knowledge of this crucial period of European and World History.

What you need to get on

All A level courses or TWO A levels and ONE vocational course: Students must achieve a min of 5 subjects at GCSE grades 4 or above (including English Language and Maths) PLUS the relevant subject specific entry requirements. For a programme of 2 vocational courses and one A level: we would accept ONE KS4 level 2 Merit in place of a GCSE For a programme of 3 vocational courses only: we would accept TWO KS4 level 2 Merits in place of 2 GCSEs, full entry requirements can be found in our prospectus.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
