Music Technology is for anyone who has a keen interest in music technology, who enjoys creating and listening to different styles of music and who wishes to extend their practical experience and understanding of music technology. You will learn to produce performances using sequencing software in a range of musical styles and develop the skills required to make high quality recordings of musical performances. You will also learn how to compose and arrange using technology and develop your knowledge of the principles and development of music technology.

What you need to get on

6 GCSE/BTEC passes at Level 4 or above. It is desirable to achieve a Level 5 or above in this subject at GCSE (or a related subject).

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
