This course enables stuedents to expand and refine their skills as musicians while simulataneously developing their knowledge and appreciation of music
What you need to get on
To study this course at A Level, students must achieve a Grade 6 or above in GCSE Music, as well as Grade 5 or above on an instrument/singing from ABRSM/Trinity or a similar exam board. For students without GCSE Music or a Grade 5, an audition and music theory test will be required.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
