You will learn how to represent situations mathematically & develop an understanding of the relationship between ?real world? problems & standard mathematical models. Topics will be developed using a range of strategies. The first pure Mathematics module is a non-calculator module but effective use of both graphical and scientific calculators also forms an important part of the course. You will also be encouraged to use appropriate software to develop your skills. Maths is a highly regarded subject & can lead to a high number of degree opportunities or career options
