Are you looking to build upon the statistics and probability components of GCSE Maths – perhaps with a career in analysis, research or investment in mind? A Level Statistics builds on what you have been taught at GCSE, and will teach you how to use statistics to analyse data trends and solve statistical problems in a variety of contexts. This course will prepare you for further study and employment in a wide range of disciplines which use statistical analysis and reasoning with data.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs passes at a minimum of Grade 5 which must includeEnglish Language or Literature at Grade 4 and Maths at Grade 7.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
