The Religious Studies course is an exciting and dynamic course which is designed to enable you to develop insights into areas of knowledge, belief and thought central to an understanding of the modern world. Through a study of philosophy, ethics, scripture and some of the world’s major religions, you will be equipped with a range of knowledge and skills which will help you to make sense of the contemporary world.

What you need to get on

Minimum entry requirement to the Arthur Terry 6th form: Gaining a minimum 33 points from a minimum of 7 GCSEs which must include English Language and Maths with a minimum point score of 4. Individual subject entry requirements must follow the Pathway entry requirements table also available on the Arthur Terry School website. Up to 2 BTEC/OCR National qualifications at Level 2 Merit can be used for 6th form entry. Each BTEC will count as 1 of the 7 GCSE grades Minimum subject entry requirement: 5 in GCSE Religious Studies and 5 in GCSE English Language or Literature
