Psychology helps us to gain invaluable insights into who we are. It helps us to uncover some of the reasons why some people might do one thing, whilst others do another. We are able to explore so called ‘abnormal’ behaviours using different perspectives and theoretical concepts. The use of psychology deepens our understanding of the people around us and can make us more compassionate people as a result. We work together on skills to enable us to apply this knowledge in the real world and affect change in our communities.

What you need to get on

Six GCSE grades 9-4 including English Language and Maths Subject specific: Grade 5 in GCSE Psychology, or in a relevant subject where Psychology has not been studied at GCSE.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
