What the college says
Psychology is the scientific study of mind, behaviour, and experience. It aims to offer academic explanations and insight into the behaviour and mental processes that are part of our everyday experiences. The course includes the study of different psychological theories, research findings, case studies and the different methods used to collect data. It offers a balance of exciting theory and contemporary psychology in action.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 or above in a Science GCSE (Biology preferred). Grade 6 or above in English Language GCSE. Grade 5 or above in Mathematics GCSE.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
