What the college says

Psychology asks one key question: why do we behave the way we do? The AQA course is an excellent introduction to the scientific study of human behaviour. The course allows opportunities for debate such as: is behaviour innate or is it learned? Do we have free will or is all our behaviour pre-determined?

What you need to get on

There are no specific subject requirements although students will be expected to have an appreciation and understanding of scientific research and have the ability to evaluate and synthesise information. It is suggested that students have a minimum Grade 6 in Mathematics, Biology, and English to cope with the demands of the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
