What the college says
Psychology will allow you to have a better understanding of the human mind and how everyday behaviour is influenced by the world around us. It will enable you to develop your critical thinking and evaluative skills and have a better understanding of many social, scientific and contemporary issues involved in our daily life. There are three papers that will be sat at the end of the course, all equally weighted. Topics that will be covered over the two-year course include Psychopathology, Attachment, Memory, Biopsychology and many more!

GCSE Biology (or Science), English and Mathematics grade 5
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
