Students will study the main approaches to Psychology to gain an understanding and insight in to the science concerned with the study of mind and behaviour. Students will develop their analytical thinking skills through a scientific approach their learning. The course comprises of three units: Unit 1- Social Influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology; Unit 2- Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology, Research Methods and Issues and Debates in Psychology; Unit 3 - will comprise of three optional topics, such as Relationships, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology.

What you need to get on

Grade 9-5 (A*-C) in five GCSEs including a minimum grade 6 in English and Mathematics.Plus, a minimum grade 5 or Merit in GCSE/BTEC Science.Preferable to have studied Psychology at GCSE level.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
