Psychology is the study of the mind and behaviour. AS Level: This is a change to the previous specification and is a stand-alone qualification. Paper 1: Memory, Attachment and Social Influence Paper 2: Approaches in Psychology Psychopathology and Research Methods Assessment is through two one and a half hour exams in which multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions are answered. A2 Level: This is a change to the previous specification. This is a linear course and all 3 exams will be sat at the end of the A2 course. Paper 1: Introductory topics in Psychology: Social Influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology. Relationships and Eating Behaviour. Paper 2: Psychology on Context: Approaches in Psychology, Research Methods and Bio-Psychology. Paper 3: Issues and debates in Psychology plus 3 options in Psychology chosen from the following: Relationships/Gender/Cognition and Development, plus one from Schizophrenia/Eating Behaviour/Stress and one from: Aggression/Forensic Psychology/Addiction.
