What the college says
Psychology is a broad subject which covers a range of topics, all investigating how and why humans behave as they do. For example, does an imbalance of hormones make you more aggressive? Why were the Nazis able to kill 6 million Jewish people? Why do phobias develop and how can we treat them?
What you need to get on
5 GCSE's at grade 4 (C) or above plus a 5 in psychology if taken, or English Lit/Lang, plus 5 in Maths.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
