What the college says
The course starts with lessons that will develop your practical skills. You will learn new methods to analyse the data from your experiments. In Year 13 you will study the principles of Physics in more depth. Unit 6: Further Mechnanics and Thermal Physics Unit 7: Fields Unit 8: Nuclear Physics Final Unit : Optional Topic
What you need to get on
Students must have Grade 5 or above from GCSE Science or Physics. GCSE Maths at Grade 5 or above is also needed. Students must study A Level Maths or Core Maths alongside their Physics, this is a beneficial combination.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
