What the college says
A level physics at Alsager Sixth Form College covers mechanics, waves, electromagnetism and field, quantum processes and includes a large variety of practical experiments. The course will be assessed by written examination and there will be a separate mark awarded for practical skills. A level physics will give a solid basis for further study in physics, any engineering and many other sciences as well as building skills for all problem solving future careers. A Level Physics complements A Level Mathematics, with mechanics covered in both subjects.
