What the college says
We currently follow the AQA Physics A course at A level. Over the two years the specification covers all of the main areas of Physics. The course explores the physical laws that govern the behaviour of the universe at both the very large and very small scale, and covers topics such as Classical Mechanics, Quantum Physics, Particle Physics, Radioactivity, Waves and Materials. There is a strong practical emphasis throughout the course.

How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
