What the college says
Music A Level is an exciting course with something for everyone. It offers the opportunity to analyse, perform and compose in a variety of different styles, from Western Classical symphonic music to Glam Rock, developing the skills, confidence and music theory needed to progress into the Music Industry.
What you need to get on
Five passes in GCSE at grade 4 or above. One of the five passes will include English at grade 4 or higher. GCSE Grade 5 or above in Music plus Grade 4 Instrumental or Vocal Skills
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
