Following this course at A-Level you will develop a knowledge and understanding of the legal system and an ability to evaluate its operation and performance. The specification introduces substantive law and requires simple application of aspects of criminal law and tort law. At A-Level, the specification further develops knowledge of the legal system through criminal and civil law.

What you need to get on

Minimum entry requirement to the Arthur Terry 6th form: Gaining a minimum 33 points from a minimum of 7 GCSEs which must include English Language and Maths with a minimum point score of 4. Individual subject entry requirements must follow the Pathway entry requirements table also available on the Arthur Terry School website. Up to 2 BTEC/OCR National qualifications at Level 2 Merit can be used for 6th form entry. Each BTEC will count as 1 of the 7 GCSE grades Minimum subject entry requirements: 5 in GCSE English Language and 5 in GCSE Humanities plus 5 in GCSE Maths
