What the college says
Choosing Advanced Level History offers students the opportunity to explore what is going on around them and in the wider world through the lens of the past. It is an opportunity to see things as they really are and to understand why our society and the world as a whole behaves in the way it does. Advanced Level History is an exploration of human nature and of what is right, what is wrong and ultimately what is going to happen when human nature is put to the test.
