At A2 Level, students are able to study a wide range of fascinating issues that face our Contested Planet. The six topics covered include: Energy Security, Water Conflicts, Biodiversity under Threat, Superpower Geographies, Bridging the Development Gap, and The Technological Fix. A further requirement at A2 Level is to complete an independent research task, which enables students to study a human or physical topic of particular interest to them in depth. There is also an once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Iceland and experience all of the different aspects covered in A Level Geography.

GCSE Geography Grade 6. If Geography is not taken, a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature or Sociology

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
