GCE A Level in Geography
at Ark Putney Academy, London · school or sixth form
What the college says
Geography will excite students’ minds, challenge perceptions and stimulate their investigative and analytical skills. This is why it is important; it is inherently relevant and topical and it is likely that what you study in the classroom you will later see on the news or elsewhere in the media. For example, you will study about globalisation, which has been a key feature of global economy and society in recent decades, but also water and carbon cycles, two major elements in the natural environment.
