What the college says
Although it is helpful to have studied Geography at GCSE level it is not a necessary requirement for this course. This course will appeal to students who are interested in the world’s places, people and environments. The course allows students to think independently, explore global and local issues in depth and develop research and fieldwork skills.
What you need to get on
Standard entrance criteria for 6th form: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths. Minimum grade 5 in GCSE Science, Geography or English Language.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
