Geography A-Level: Students will experience a taught section of the course that introduces new topics as well as expanding upon the KS4 syllabus, in addition to a fieldworkbased investigation which is worth 20% of the A Level. What will I be covering in the course? The course consists of three modules that challenge different areas of expertise: Unit 1: Physical Geography (2 hour 30 min exam- 40% of A level) Unit 2: Human Geography (2 hour 30 min exam- 40% of A level) Unit 3: Geography field work investigation (Written report- 20% of A level)

What you need to get on

Students choosing to study four A levels* If you wish to study four A levels you must achieve: Six GCSE's at grade 7or above. Mathematics and English at grade 6 or above. Students choosing to study three A Levels If you wish to study three A levels you must achieve: Six GCSE's at grade 6 or above. Mathematics and English at grade 5 or above. If the subject has been studied at GCSE you need to have gained a 6 in that subject.
