Level 3A levelsGCE A level24 monthsFull timeFree

What the college says

16-19 year olds. This is a totally new and exciting A-level that will continue on from what you have learned at GCSE, cementing your knowledge and encouraging you to think and work more independently. One of the major changes is that there will be no AS and all your exams will be at the end of the two years of study. In addition to this, there is an independent investigation that is new to A-Level. This will require independent investigation, fieldwork and write up by all students to produce a 4,000 word report. This is a challenging A-Level that will stretch you far beyond what you have done at GCSE. There will be an increased focus on the importance of independent fieldwork and students will be expected to develop as global citizens, with an understanding of the implications of wider geographical concepts.
