This is a course that will allow you to experience some of the greatest writing in the English language. It will help you to develop your interest in and employment of literature; enable you to make informed judgements about texts; and gain an understanding of the social, cultural and historical factors that influence writers.
What you need to get on
Entry criteria for A Level English Literature: Grade 6+ in English Language or English Literature. A Minimum grade 5 in Maths. -Five GCSEs at a minimum of a grade 6 Students must be taking at least 7 GCSEs.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
