An A Level in English Literature offers a rigorous, stimulating and challenging qualification which allows learners to to deepen their appreciation and understanding of literature, including its changing traditions. Students are encouraged to read widely, engage critically while developing both their oracy and written responses. They will gain knowledge and skills of literary analysis and evaluation, and explore the contexts of the texts they are reading and others interpretations of them.
