This course will raise your awareness of the language you experience and will help you interpret texts and transcripts of spoken language and understand how not only what we say is significant but also how and why we say it.

6 GCSE/BTEC passes at Level 4 or above. (In addition, students will be expected to have a Level 5 pass in GCSE English Language to take this course).

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
